An incredible defensive effort from Brisbane Broncos gave them their first victory of the season, while St George Illawarra's attacking woes continue.
Three second half tries to the Broncos broke the 6-all deadlock, and ultimately the Dragons.
The Broncos succumbed to a mountain of pressure when Michael Weyman crashed over from a Nathan Fien pass.
Broncos prop Josh McGuire was put on report for a late shot on Fien after the Dragons halfback gave the try assist.
The Dragons failed to capitalise after Justin Hodges is sin binned for a professional foul.
