Australian golfer Brett Rumford eagled the first hole of a three-man playoff to win the Ballantine's Championship in South Korea on Sunday - his fourth European tour victory.
Rumford had been leading by two shots with two holes to play but double-bogeyed the 17th before holing a 10-foot par putt at the last to force his way into the playoff.
The Perth-born golfer then holed a four-foot eagle putt to defeat fellow Australian Marcus Fraser and Scotland's Peter Whiteford after all three players ended 72 holes tied at 11-under par 277.
Rumford, who was red hot with 11 birdies in 14 holes from the 14th hole in the third round, shot a closing four-under 68 which was matched by Fraser while Whiteford had a 69.
South African Louis Oosthuizen - the highest world-ranked player in the field at No.7 - shot a last-round 69 to be three strokes off the leaders in a share of fifth place.
