South Sydney winger Andrew Everingham and Parramatta enforcer Darcy Lussick have accepted two match bans after both took the early guilty plea over charges from the weekend's games.

The Rabbitohs flyer was cited for a grade two shoulder charge as a result of a 63rd minute collision with North Queensland Cowboys fullback Matt Bowen and faced three weeks on the sidelines if he contested the charge and lost.

Instead, he decided to play it safe and cop the two match ban, the equal harshest penalty meted out for a shoulder charge so far this season.

Lussick, who has a bad record with the match review committee, also opted to play it safe and take a two match suspension for his role in a 48th minute brawl in the Eels' clash against Brisbane.

The Broncos' Josh McGuire and Penrith's Mose Masoe were the other players to be cited from the weekend's games, but both escaped suspension after entering early guilty pleas.

Sydney Roosters players Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Jake Friend have until midday on Wednesday to respond to their charges from Monday night's clash with Manly, with Waerea-Hargreaves facing a hefty penalty whether or not he takes the early guilty plea.

Friend will avoid suspension if he chooses not to fight his careless high tackle charge.
