Richmond defender Nick Vlastuin is the round-seven AFL Rising Star nominee.
Playing in just his third match, Vlastuin collected 23 disposals, including 11 marks and a goal, in the Tigers' 41-point win over Port Adelaide on Saturday.
The 19-year-old had made an immediate impact since arriving at the club, coach Damien Hardwick said.
"His dedication to training, and his commitment to learning and finding ways to improve his game, is a real credit to him,'' Hardwick said.
"We've been really impressed with the impact he's had at senior level in the past few weeks.''
Before his selection at pick nine in the 2012 Draft, Vlastuin captained Vic Metro in the 2012 NAB AFL Under-18 championships and won All-Australian honours for his work as a medium defender.
